Arsenal conceded two goals in the final seven minutes as they suffered a 2-0 defeat at Sporting Braga which leaves them with work to do to reach the Champions league knockout stages.
The Gunners went into the game knowing that a draw would ensure progress and they made a bright start, however, eight minutes in Moises headed well over as he met a Luis Aguiar free-kick in from the left.
Arsenal then started to enjoy the better of the possession without being able to carve out any clear chances, before on the half-hour mark Cesc Fabregas lofted a 20-yard free-kick tamely towards goal and Felipe turned it over for a corner.
A few minutes later keeper Felipe timed his advance perfectly to take the ball off Theo Walcott's toes as the England man charged clear.
A dismal first 45 minutes ended with Walcott firing well wide after being played in by a cute flicked pass over the defence from Nicklas Bendtner.
The second half failed to sparkle in the opening minutes, but just past the hour mark Luis Aguiar latched on to a weak defensive header from Sebastien Squillaci and belted his shot just wide of goal from the edge of the area.
Twenty minutes from Fabregas suffered a recurrence of a hamstring problem and was forced off and soon after Carlos Vela entered the fray and thought he had won a penalty, only to be one of eight players booked in the game.
Braga then made the late breakthrough after the Gunners were reduced to ten men after Emmanuel Eboue was stretchered off.
A long ball over the top played in Matheus and he placed a left-foot shot wide of the advancing Fabianski.
The same player added an even better second in stoppage time, picked up the ball just inside his own half, racing through, beating a defender and lashing a left-foot shot past Fabianski and in off the underside of the bar.

Bayern coach Louis van Gaal fielded several unfamiliar faces, not least goalkeeper Thomas Kraft, who had a debut to remember after being forced into action as early as the third minute. The 22-year-old repelled a powerful strike from Marco Borriello and was relieved to watch Jérémy Menez blaze over the rebound from ten metres. On the quarter-hour Mirko Vučinić also threatened, sending an ambitious chip off beam from 20 metres.
Kraft was again called upon midway through the half, parrying John Arne Riise's speculative effort; this time Leandro Greco skied the rebound. Despite these chances, Bayern had enjoyed most of the possession, with Toni Kroos, Thomas Müller and Franck Ribéry selflessly supporting the lone Gomez. Martín Demichelis, twice, and Andres Ottl both fired over, but when the breakthrough came, in the 33rd minute, it was from a fine team move. Ribéry teased a clever a reverse pass into the path of Gomez, who directed his shot in off the far post.
Roma were slow to react and within seven minutes were two down, Gomez pouncing again to poke in following a fine pass by Müller. The Stadio Olimpico was silenced and but for a reaction save from Júlio Sérgio's outstretched legs, the hosts would have been three behind at half-time. The debutant could do little about the equaliser, though, as with nine minutes to go, Vučinić found Riise with a slide-rule pass and the full-back's cross was dispatched by De Rossi.
Roma were rampant and completed the remarkable turnaround within three minutes of drawing level. Francesco Totti, a 75th-minute substitute, played Borriello in on goal and Kraft's first error of the night was to fell the Roma forward. Totti applied the coup de grâce.

Chelsea came close to another embarrassing result against Slovakian side Zilina on Tuesday before a second-half turnaround secured the English champions a 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge and top spot in Group F of the Champions League.
The decision by under-pressure Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti to play a young, virtually second-string team looked like it was going to spectacularly backfire when Zilina, bottom of the group and without a point, took the lead in the 19th minute through midfielder Babatounde Bello.
But Chelsea, which had already sealed qualification to the last 16 but needed a point to make sure of being group winner, played with more pace in the second half thanks to the halftime introduction of Salomon Kalou, and goals by Daniel Sturridge and Florent Malouda, who turned home the winner in the 86th, completed the hosts' recovery.
"We didn't start very well but we had a good reaction in the second half," Ancelotti said. "We changed the intensity of our play — that was the difference."
Chelsea remained perfect in group play and is six points clear of second-place Marseille ahead of its final game against the French side, which has also qualified.
At halftime, though, it looked as though Chelsea's recent run of poor form, which has seen the team lose three of its last four matches in the Premier League to pile the pressure on Ancelotti, was going to continue.
The chances of Zilina, coming off a tournament-record 7-0 home loss to Marseille last time out, adding to the Blues' current woes were so remote that Ancelotti was happy to give some of his squad's youngsters — such as defenders Jeffrey Bruma and Patrick van Aanholt, midfielder Josh McEachran and forwards Gael Kakuta and Sturridge — some playing time.
Yet Chelsea, which hasn't lost at Stamford Bridge in the tournament's group stage since 2003, started slowly and fell behind when Bello exchanged a one-two with Robert Jez on the edge of the penalty area before toe-poking an 18-yard finish past Ross Turnbull, deputizing for rested first-choice goalkeeper Petr Cech.
The home crowd was stunned as Ancelotti, who was forced on Monday to deny press reports that he was threatening to resign, cut an isolated figure in his technical area, hands in pockets and visibly frustrated.
It could have been even worse for the hosts 10 minutes later, when playmaker Tomas Matjin waltzed through the heart of their defense and had an angled shot palmed away by Turnbull.
"If we play like we did in the first half, it will be impossible (to win the Champions League)," said Ancelotti, who was without injured trio Frank Lampard, John Terry and Michael Essien and chose to rest Petr Cech, Ashley Cole and Alex.
It was one-way traffic for the rest of the match, with Sturridge shooting narrowly wide and over and also having a fierce shot saved before the break, while Malouda headed straight at Zilina goalkeeper Martin Dubravka in the 36th.
Kalou began the second half instead of Kakuta and had an immediate impact, shooting inches wide in the 47th before his cross from the left squirmed through a raft of bodies for Sturridge to tap in at the far post four minutes later.
With Zilina barely getting out of its own half, Drogba — Chelsea's captain for the night — almost made it 2-1 when his free kick was tipped acrobatically onto the post by Dubravka in the 61st.
The frame of the goal was rocking again in the 71st when left back Van Aanholt's arrowed 25-yarder crashed against the post.
The onslaught continued as Malouda smashed a shot against the sidenetting in the 82nd but the France winger couldn't miss when he ran on to Drogba's header to steer in the winner.
Zilina coach Pavel Hapal was disappointed his side caved in in the second half.
"We thought we were going to go back with a point but luck was not on our side," he said. "Defensively, I thought we were very good."

Manchester United aim to avoid getting caught up by a general strike in Spain tomorrow – and set up their own blockade against Valencia instead.
The country is set to come to a standstill tomorrow in protest at savage cuts being imposed by the government to try and balance the books in one of Europe’s most debt-ridden economies.
As a former trade unionist in the Glasgow shipyards, Ferguson is well versed in politics and reacted jovially when asked whether he was concerned about getting caught up in the action tomorrow.
Of far more concern to the Scot is shoring up a defence that has leaked nine goals in its five Premier League games, which means the return of Rio Ferdinand has not come a moment too soon.
“Rio is much fitter now,” said Ferguson.
“He has had plenty of training, a couple of reserve games and matches against Rangers and Scunthorpe.
“He was out for five months so he still probably needs another game or so.
“But the important thing is he is coming back and we look forward to having him back.”
Ferguson claimed to still be undecided about whether to select Ferdinand or Jonny Evans to feature alongside skipper Nemanja Vidic at the Mestalla.
Yet if that were true, it would be an odd situation given Ferguson left Ferdinand out of Sunday’s clash with Bolton purely because he does not have the strength yet to get himself through two arduous tests in the space of four days.
Merely by missing that Scunthorpe encounter to watch Valencia in action personally against Atletico Madrid last Wednesday, Ferguson was underlining the importance of what will be United’s 19th away game against Spanish opposition, from which they have emerged victorious just once, against Deportivo La Coruna in 2002.
“When you look at that statistic, obviously it is the hardest place for us to go,” he said.
“Spain has produced cup-winning teams for years. You have to recognise that.
“The standard of Spanish football has been good for as long as I can remember, so we have a tough game tomorrow. We are all aware of that.

Werder Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf will be forced to assemble a makeshift team for tomorrow night’s Champions League tie at Inter Milan due to injuries to three key players.
Claudio Pizarro, Clemens Fritz and Torsten Frings have all been ruled out of the match at the San Siro and Schaaf admits the already difficult task of beating the cup holders has been made even harder.
“These injuries hit us hard,” he said on the eve of the game. “In view of our upcoming challenges, these losses mean a drop in quality for the team.”
The trio are not only doubtful for tomorrow, but also the Bundesliga clash with Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend.
“We hope that all three get back as soon as possible, but there is the risk that they will miss the next two games,” added Schaaf.
Their loss is just the latest setback in what has been a difficult start to the season for the northern Germany side.
Sunday’s derby triumph over Hamburg was only their second win of the season while they drew their Champions League opener against Tottenham.
But tomorrow’s match is arguably the toughest in their group.
“Inter are the clear favourites and it is impressive what this team is capable of,” he said.
Schaaf can however welcome Petri Pasanen back into his defence after he missed the derby with Hamburg due to injury.
Inter boss Rafael Benitez is wary of Werder despite their mixed form.
He said: “Werder Bremen are a team with a strong mentality and experience, it will certainly be a difficult game.
“I don’t know the Werder Bremen coach personally but I do know that he has experience and quality.

The German side has been struggling in the Bundesliga this season and is currently in twelfth place after only two wins in six fixtures. Last round could be a turning point for Werder Bremen though with a 3-2 home win against Hamburg. This said, the win did come easy and only a late winner secured the victory, when Hugo Almeida found the net.
In the Champions League Werder Bremen faced Tottenham in the first round, where they made a nice comeback in the 2-2 draw. This leaves things level in the group, which could turn out to be very tight in the end.
